Dr. G.S. Selopal

Dr. G.S. Selopal

Assistant Professor
Department of Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie University

Dr. Selopal is an expert in the advanced nanoengineering of multifunctional quantum materials for clean energy conversion and sustainable agriculture technologies. He is widely recognized for optimizing quantum materials to develop reliable, cost-effective, and scalable solutions that address critical challenges in environmental sustainability and food security. With a multidisciplinary background in materials science, chemical engineering, and applied physics, his research bridges the gap between fundamental quantum materials design and field-scale applications. He holds Adjunct Professor appointments at INRS-EMT (QC) and the University of Prince Edward Island (PEI), and is a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.).
